3G eclipse

hey everyone does the a 01 and 02 eclipse come with 205 hp? how much do they weigh? also what do they usually run on the 1/4 mile and 0-60? any help is appreciated thanks.

Yes they both come with 205hp, I think they weigh a little over 3000, like 3125...3300, something like that, and I think stock they run 16's and like 7 sec 0-60's. I am not positive on this since I have a GS, but Im pretty sure most of it is relatively close. Check out club3g.com and do a search, you'll prob find all the answers there.

i did some search on autotrader and they weigh 3053 lbs . 205 hp and 205 lbs-ft. i believe they run mid to low 15s with a 5 speed. is this true or not?

i believe a 2000 gt runs somewhere around a 15.4 1/4 mile and like a 7 sec 0-60

depends on the year for the weight, 2003 is 3120lbs but hp is the same for all 200 even and 205lbs torque mid 15's for quarter

so none of the 3g eclipse gt came with 205? autotrader has 205 hp for the 2000 and 2001 gt. so would you say a 2000 gt is a little faster than a 2003 gt. less weight and 5hp more.

5 more whp because of the fed.spec exhaust system, i assume they are lighter as well, but i like my front bumper better than any of those early eclipses cali spec sux none came rated w/ 205 only on torque

**take that back i just checked it and it does come w/ 5 more only on the 2000 model, looks like that stopped for 2001

some of the 2001 models did come with 205 hp. i dont know if those 0-60 times are correct. i think the people that do the test take it easy on the car, cause i can get mine up to 60 faster than 7 seconds.
