how do i remove the body??

i just bought an ertl racing champions nascar model from a friend its 1:24 and its got these things that hold the body on the car:

is there anyway i can take this off and be able to put it back on after im done with the interior?

i hate those things, their like metal things, only i can think of for u is to cut around it or burn it out

drill them out, but only drill enough for it to release it.

i have a soldering iron but its like for circut work... do think i could use it to melt the little plastic things back together? or solder the body to the chassis?

Chances are you'll screw up stuff if you use heat. Get a hacksaw or a dremel for that job.

i was using a dremel to get it off i was talking about getting it back on.. would model glue work if not heat?
