rear brake lockup when cold (85 s10)

Every morning when I start driving, the rear brakes on my '85 s10 will lock up under the slightest pedal pressure. If I "ride" the brakes or drive around the block once or twice (constantly locking the rear brakes) the problem goes away.
Until the next morning that is...
The longer between drives, the worse the issue is.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Ben

your brakes will always work better when cold. as time goes by it will get worse because your rotors are wearing thin. the thinner the rotor the more common the occurance. i think its time for some new rotors.

You may want to check the emergency brakes,if your 85 is like my 84 the cable could be bad.
Check to see if the cable is binding and keeping some slite pressure on both rear brakes.
