Prelude O2 Sensor

I have a 1996 Honda Prelude. The check engine light is on. I had the codes pulled and it read "faulty 02 sensor #2". Is this the sensor before or after the catalyst? I feel like I can replace the sensor myself. Is there anything I need to know about splicing the wires for a universal sensor?

if you know what you doing , then go for it

only have one O2 sensor in the 4th gens and its before the cat. if the o2 sensor goes then u are prolly in limp mode. its funny when u hit 5k it screams in pain. easy to replace jus get the part and if u have the right socket there u go but they use a certain socket. if u dont have it rent it from autozone. btw do quickly u run rich when in limp mode and eats up your CAT quickly. do soon or u will end up replacing ur cat as well
