Does anyone have any advise on which blow off valve ot get. I thinking about the GFB and Turbo XS RFL. Anyone have either of these or know anything about them?

well its more about what sound you want your car to make, because most bov make different sounds. if your not pushing more boost you wont really notice a differance in perfomance.

i own a hks ss. it has a really nice sound but i also have heard of the greddy type s. the sound on that one is nice too.

I was more wondering what sounds the best, while not having problems with the car throwing check engine lights and such.

they wont throw check engine lights. If you want something loud go with Go Fast Bits, they sound great and really scare the lower in the food chain imports. If you want more practical with some sound get a HKS SSQBV (sp).

I do not like the term "rice" either, it implies predjudice.
A lot of people are about style, not performance.
However, I would like to see someone tell me how a BOV does anything good for a stock WRX motor. Facts please, vs. the stock Subaru part.

It doesnt effect anything, just makes a cool PFFFT noise. It has no performance value what so ever.

do stock rexies compressor surge with the stock blow off valve? because all a BOV does is vent excess boost pressure
