over heating, L47 engine

Many of my overheating problems have been dependent on losing pressure in the cooling system. A small leak and coolant recovery cap were the culpits. My 15 psi cap was releasing at 12-13 psi. In addition, the GM parts department only carries a 18 psi cap now for it. Has anyone got the same results? Andy
