rs to gst or gsx

I've been reading a bunch of the forums and I've decided to take your advice and get rid of my 95' RS and try to get a gst or a gsx. How much should I ask for my RS, I just personally detailed the thing through and through so its in immaculate shape inside, just got a paint job so theres no fading on the outside or anything, has a aftermarket stereo installed in it(mrsp is about $350~400ish) Full body kit on it,sunroof, interior neons,projector headlights/altezza tail lights and most of the stuff under hood has been replaced with OEM parts recently. Its at 100450miles/ brakes were just changed/ Apexi exhaust system/and the tranny was just checked for any problems.The only thing I can think of that is wrong with this car is that I think the head gasket needs to be changed(which I'll probably do soon just for the fun of it) I've never really sold a car,and never an eclipse at that,so what should I ask for this thing??? I dont have much saved up towards a gst or gsx at the moment so anything I can squeeze out of this car would be great.Thanks,John

And what are the differences between the two I'm not really into the whole racing thing(love to mod them though) but my friend does have an 85 porsche that I would Love to beat(not sure if wether the turbo models can beat it just stock)

As far as how much to sell your car for, go to www.kbb.com and enter your car's information. They will give you prices for dealer trade-in, 3rd party sale, etc.

gst is front wheel drive, gsx is awd. each is good in their own right but the gsx is slightly faster due to launching without spinning tires.

id go with a talon just because it says TALON on the back. it throws people off who dont know shit about DSMs :D

I dont know man them neons be addin 50 hp for each so its kind of hard. :)

having aftermarket rims on my car makes people wonder what it is... ive been asked many times if my car was a porshe or some import along those lines. people are funny!! :D :D

You fiberglassed over it? I was under the impression that it's molded into the bumper cover.

in my 96 TSi awd i had the little eagle in the shape of an upside down pyramid indented into the bumper.(about 3 inches wide/long) i got a skrewdriver and popped it out like rivet

there is still a little indention on the bumper. im thinking about custom fab'ing a superman emblem and putting it in there :D


ive seen some Talon's with the huge eagle emblem on it, is that what you are thinking of?

that would be a good port hole to put a FMIC under though, anyone ever think of that?
