first street race!!

well i figure ill tell you about my first race and get acquainted with the street racing forum. ive raced a few more times since this, but everyone knows theres nothing like that first race. :)
im driving my 1996 240sx (exhaust, intake, and a few other goodies), and come up to an integra, a 94+ model, with only exhaust from what i know. well we come up to a red light, with no other traffic around for maybe 1/2 mile or so. so he throws a rev at me, i look at him like wtf cause i never raced before but catch the point after he guns it (he had auto) and i do nothing. well he slows down and i get beside him, look at him and he guns it again. so i drop it into 3 and gun it myself and catch up in hardly anytime at all, pull maybe 2-2 1/2 car lengths on him when i shift into fourth. he gave me the thumbs up and i gave a nod back and we went on our ways. cool guy, and a good first race IMO.

yes sometimes i just go out for a drive looking for a street race cause its so damn addictive, the adrenaline rush is great. Even if you lose its still a blast.

lol yeah im addicted. i go out driving looking for races too :biggrin: . i need to get a radar detector too. i dont speed in neighborhoods or in traffic anyway so maybe i dont need one. well thanks for the replies and youll be seeing alot more kill/death (hopefully more kills lol) stories from me.

lol, i read that thread youngvr4, if they are talking about the one with the nsx. i KNOW i wouldnt of did that :evillol: thanks for the repliesand i should have some more stories to tell this weekend. :naughty:
