I recently bought a VTEC 96 lude and im questioning my cars performance . . . i currently have intake, headers, and exhuast . . . i lose to V6's a lot and i feel my car is not up to "par" . . a friend of mine used to have the same car and said i should never lose to a V6 and that my car should be faster than what it is . . ALSO i need a clutch badly and i ordered one today . . will that make my car run better/faster? . . also i was told to take it to a DYNO shop and have them tune it cause they can tell me whats wrong . . so many questions so little time . . oh and one more thing . . if i get a VTEC controller can will it help my air/fuel ratio becuase i feel there is too much gas going into my chamber :/ . . sorry for the long thread jsut need some advice from experienced lude owners ..thanks

your friend is right in many respects. if your lude really is a vtec is shouldnt have much trouble handling most(and i stress most) v6s out there. especially if u already have i/h/e. if ur questioning your car, look under the hood. then if ur still not convinced look at your rpm meter, it should redline 7400rpms. and your question about the clutch, yes it can make a big difference in terms of performance(if u know how to drive, that is). a new clutch isnt going to make your car a rocket but if u know whatyour doing behind the wheel, performance is crisper.
