Well, i bought oil for my car for an oil change, for a 2000 chevy camaro, and after drained, changed the filter, and replaced the oil i notice that the cap said 10w 30...and i put in 5w 30..is this gonna harm my engine or what. or is it perfectly fine? it wasnt running much different, and i didnt really drive around much today...also the oil is Vaviline...or what not...the white bottle with blue labeling...yeah...all advice is appriciated...

No its not gonna hurt anything.. If anything 5w-30 is better.. I run 5w30 in both my cars.. its just a little thinner of an oil

I have also heard vavaline is used to help increase mpg...Yeah, i dunno i just feel really fragile with my car for some reason..i mean i drive it like its made to be drivin...but sometimes i think i really run it hard and feel its gonna break down on me or something....

nah the valvoline aint gonna increase your fuel milage at all.. No oil is gonna make a noticeable difference.. I would recommend getting synthetic oil though..

I know how ya feel! Sometimes I drive my baby a little too hard and get worried... things already costed me so much money.. dont want her to break down again

depending on how cold it gets where you are in the winter, you really dont want to run 10w-30 in the colder months...

Use pensoil, it'll give you 25 horse and increased mpg
