I have a 94 s10 4wd w/4.3 vortec 4wd quit working and have sicne
foud broken vacum line fitting on top of tranfer case drivers side is this
fitting replaceable and do you think this is my 4wd problem I recently did some testing and once I was able to get a somewhat seal on
the broken piece it engaged my 4wd The piece is pressed into the transfer case upper top on the drivers side it is an elbow made possibly of brass and the vac line hooks to it by itself and then it runs to the front of the truck The trans is automatic
Thanks

if i remember correctly that transfer case is has a vacuum actuated solenoid that engauges 4wd. without that vacuum signal you wont have 4wd. find a way to fix it or get the fitting replaced. as for the vacuum line you can get those at any auto parts store. you might be able to find the fitting there too.
