comprerssor??

okay, i have a 1992 toyota corolla, and the other day i added an 12 oz can of r-134a freon to the engine. Now, the compressor clicks on and off. also, it does not cool very well at low speeds. Any help??? Thanks!

I have a 93 Corolla and it's an R-12 system. Was yours originally R-134?, was it converted?

also, the sight glass is cloudy, it is milky white

What was it doing before you added the can? I know that rapid cycling of the compressor is often due to low refrigerant levels. I was told that I should keep the A/C on and add refrigerant until the sight glass is clear.
