do you mean 2 square kickers? and those don't have the best sq, but will do fine, aren't they out of your price range?

if you're considering 125 per sub, how about an adire shiva, its a 12 and will sound alot better than the kickers
http://adireaudio.com/
they're dual 8 ohms, so double parallel would be 2 ohms on your amp

you can get any of these JL Audio subs from authorized dealers
10W0's for about $150
10W3's for about $250
10W6's for about $300
10W7's for about $500
or, you can easily get any of them for about half price off the net.
You can get this setup online and spend within your budget, and you'll end
up with a system that quakes way better than anything else in that range.

the reason authorized dealers charge double is because of the warranty. as long as it's properly installed by an authorized dealer and you didn't cause it to blow by f?cking with it, then your covered.
you can find all those subs for about half price on the net all day long (especially places like Ebay). the downside to the cheaper price is the warranty is for only 90 days when it's a non-authorized install

HEY! man my buddy has a 03 stang and hes gota audiobahn 1800.1 or something. THe 1800 rms one. Hes got 2 10' kicker comp vr's. Its so damn loud. His box is just a soltport one, nothing custom. Last time he was on the mic he hit 139.9 dbs off 2 10 inch subs in a noncustom box. With your setup those subs take the power and hit hard. Just letting you know what he's running. you wont be sorry if you can get those subs with your amp

the problem with a lot of these cheaper subs is you don't get the same effect from the same distance.
what i mean is, almost any sub on the market will sound good inside your car because that's the one thing they all got in common, (WTF, even a 6x9 can push air inside your car).
the difference maker is how forceful are your subs.
Question: I know your sub can throw bass inside your car, but how far down the block can your sub throw bass?
the standard for subs shouldn't be; Db level measured using (1) watt @ (1) meter. To really separate the big doggs from the toys, the standard for subs should be more like; Db level using 500 watts @ 500 meters...and that'll end a lot of the debates about which sub...

you should be able to find a 12 or 13W7...
or a couple of 10W7's.
as per their nomenclature, JL rates them
according to which they consider better
by their last #. The higher, the better
