yet another cobra

So I'm driving home from work, and at a light I hear a nice rumbling up ahead. I turn down my music and try to catch a glance and as traffic starts rolling, I see a green mustang with "COBRA" written across the back. So now I'm determined to pull up along side of it, but traffic is doing all it can to prevent me. Finally after a mile or so, I manage and we roll right along next to each other...nobody making the first move. So finally I punch it in 3rd at 3500 and he goes, but traffic and a red light stop us. So we slow and line up at the next red. I ask him what year and he tells me '04, I ask if he's run it yet and he says no, it's brand new, only 1500miles on it. So I tell him it's a hot car and the light turns green. I wasn't paying attention, so I didn't launch, but from a 2mph roll we both go. I take him in 1st and 2nd, then in 3rd, I see him in my mirror gaining on me quick...then traffic causes us to slow down again..but it was pretty cool. I had to turn off, but gave the wave, and so did he. I keep seeing these things coming home from work, and I can't wait till I have my boost leaks fixed and my mbc turned up to 14.5psi...then we'll see.

good job, my buddies camaro SS with just intake and exhaust barely pulled an 04 cobra down low, but the cobra came back and probably had its side door at the SS's nose after about 110 mph. My other buddies BPU RT/TT took the SS by a couple of carlengths from a roll, and the SS got on the bottle just to pass him.
