All right...Out of all the bad things that have happened, one good thing did happen...I finally got the K&N FIPK and I LOVE it :) I have noticed a very slight performance increase and my car sounds ssooooo much better. You can even hear my stock plastic BOV dump back into it! Other than that....my cd player was stolen on the 1st and the same day my car started with a new problem.....It's really difficult to move the shifter from 1st to 2nd while driving. There's a lot of resistance for some reason. All the rest of the gears are fine except the 1-2...Does anyone know why? Thanks for the help.

Well i dont know if this could be it but you could try to change your manual transmission fluid if that dosent help you may just need a new gear box.

did you look at the cables that connect to the tranny to make sure that nothing was interfering with them... they are right underneath the intake to the turbo! when i put in my PVC intake i had to cut the counter weight off cause it was interfering with the intake making it very hard to shift. other than that you might need new syncros... how is it when you down shift from 2nd to 1st? does it do the same thing?

yeah it does the same thing from 2nd to 1st.....also if i get on it in forst gear and switch to 2nd, almost 90% of the time it'll grind gears, but not all the time...my shift cables seemed to be fine also

ok how about this.....all day today it was hard to shift from 1st to 2nd (like it has been)...so i took it out and beat on it some just rippin' through the gears and now it's back to normal....nice and smooth shifting...weird...anyone have any ideas?
