Well, if you'd like to stick around further, I'd advise against that sort of posting in the future.

Why don't you make your team the name of the mountain your team is best at. Or even Team Sprinter? I mean you all do drive Toyota Trueno Sprinters. Or just bite off one from the anime. Call yourselves Project D

On a second note. Beware of Irohazaka!! I swear that course is anti-trueno...I can't get out of third gear on that course. Also, no matter what Downhill Akina is the best course for the 86.

yeah but taking people to home course-stages is just as cheap as dc2 taking people to irohazaka in version 2. on another note, you shouldn't have that much trouble getting into fourth on irohazaka with a trueno for a lotta the straights after the turns. if you manage to take the turns a little bit cleaner your fourth gear will kick in, it won't win you any races but it'll help your time.

Not really. I've noticed not many people can take the downhill it wet. So someone could always choose the wet option. Even downhill snow is difficult. Still downhill akina.
And I've seen guys in other cars putting out better times than I do. Someone In an RX-8 does 3'9 another guy in a skyline does 3'11
But, yeah. I wish the guy that started this thread would say something.

wet on akina or wet on irohazaka? please clarify more. i think you said your akina time is 3'14? you REALLY needa work on just normal driving on akina. you should be able to muster a 3'06 without feint or 5-in-4 out. not hitting any walls would really help this out a lot.

Damn..Haha thanks you just kicked me in the balls... There goes my pride. So me trying to use the best techniques is messing me up.

i didn't mean it like that. using these techniques are for experienced players meaning that if you haven't achieved a certain amount of time you really shouldn't try it. 3'14 on akina with a trueno, you will be able to get a LOT faster on it, trust me. but until then... i reccomend just learning the course more. then after you get a lower time, then try these techniques.

whatever, lets see how much skill matters when its a levin versus a 34/32 on myogi. NONE!

If this were in real life. The R34 or 32 would smoke a levin. But, In INITIAL D land. Which im glad were talking about. I guess the Levin can win. But, why? Whats its top speed? Is its turbo that amazing?
duluth2006
08-24-2004, 05:49 PM
no, the levin cannot win, its impossible boost off. its like racing a dc2 on irohazaka against a trueno (in version 2). with boost on though, give them a 500 m lead and then step on the acceleration.. then its possible. but still pretty hard since the 32/34 can block.

Ooh, I see now. Do you know what it takes to beat Bunta level 15 on myogi? I heard it takes for you to keep your car above 201 throughout the whole track. The 86 well mine hit 202 and when I hit the hard turn I drop to 199. Any opinions?
duluth2006
08-26-2004, 08:09 AM
i posted up what you need to beat bunta in the other thread on myogi. trick is to full accel through the turn, if you go too fast lift your foot off the accel for 1/10 second.

Oooh, thanks Duluth. Im hoping to beat Bunta Happo. Only one problem. I cant beat Touch rain...=( That means I might be doomed not to pass Bunta in the Rain. I mean isnt touch at a lower level on Happo wet?
duluth2006
08-29-2004, 11:56 PM
uh, there is no happo wet bunta challenge. and bunta on happo can be beaten quite easily with the civics.

Really? So Bunta is all Happo dry. Does it switch courses? Inbound to outbound, or is it all outbound or inbound? And whats Bunta Happo's best time?
duluth2006

no akina switches courses to akina snow. otherwise bunta only switches cars. stock trueno > takumi trueno > gc8v.
