Monte Carlo cuts out when turning

I have a 98 monte carlo z34 and the problem is whenever I am driving down the highway and go around a curve the motor starts to cut out, sometime even when I am going uphill. I have changed the plugs and the fuel filter but it did not do the trick. I thought it might be the fuel pump but this has been goinig on for about a month. Any ideas?

The problem is the rack and pinion.Chevy put out a recall on this earlier this year.Take it to your dealer and they will replace for free.

That would cause it to cut out when turning?
