I'm looking to pick this one up for a steal,

It looks like the rear cab mounts are pushed through and missing the bottom piece. As you can immagine, it looks like the cab is falling into the bed( / l ) This is the only thing discouraging mee from picking it up. Has anybody replaced these cab mounts? how hard where do you get em?

Thanks for the time.

Jeremy

mounts are not that bad. you will need a tall jack or if you can use a car lift that would be even more helpfull. losen the mount bolt and slightly lift up the cab and put the new one in. check for rust to make sure there is still metal their to mount the cab mount

I have replaced all the mounts on my 1984 S10. They should be similar, though.
I used my floor jack and a long piece of 2x4 to "lift" the cab up enough to pry and cut the existing mounts out. I had to put a piece of flat steel (1/8" thk.) over the exisitng opening with a hole drilled into it, then I used (2) two cheap hockey pucks instead of the expensive rubber ones. I drilled holes in them and ran a bolt through them and the flat steel placed over the opening in the frame mount. If the metal mount on the cab is rusted as well, just bend some sheet metal to make a new one and remove the existing and mount the new one with screws down thru the cab floor. TIP: make sure that you put the bolt thru the hole in the mount before attaching it to the bed, otherwise you will not be able to get the bolt in. If you have a welder, you can weld everything in place, including welding the bolt to the mount.
