stock accord beats mustang gt

Well this really actually happened 3months ago, but never got around to typin it. 3 months ago i had a 91 accord before i got my 92 accord ex and had an exhaust, intake, and NX wet system. Well not exactly stock but who cares. Well i just got to putting my nitrous on and was coming home from work when i pulled up to the last stop light in the city, when a brand new Mustang Gt pulled up with the driver laughing at me. See my accord was a heaping piece of shit on the outside with a big ricer wing, so i asked him to race. He obviously had an exhaust and was lowered, but it didnt bother me cause i knew i could drive. The light turned green and we took off. I was gettin right as i shifted into 2nd......until i opened up a can!!!!!! I blew passed him sprayin in the rest of the 4 gears i had and pulled into a gas station watching him go bye punching his steering wheel. The moral of the story is power isnt shit if you cant drive. By the way I beat him by 2 car lengths!!!!! :loser:

If he is pulling on you, you would not "blow by him" on the bottle and then only win by 2 car lengths. your story doesn't add up.

I used to hang side by side with gt's when I had the bottle on my old sohc. The race results do somewhat add up, but he said a lot of dumb shit in between..

2003 Mustang GT curb weight 3200
260 hp, 302 lb ft of torque

Maybe he could lose by 2 car lengths at best(if the Mustang driver doesn't know how to drive), but beating a high 13, low 14 sec car with those "mods" is just too damn funny.

My 87 and my 99 accords are slow as hell, so its jest a little hard to believe

well if you add a 125 shot of nitrous to it and experience what nitrous does first hand youll realize you can turn any car into a pretty quick race machine.

shit you can add any type of shot(or jets) to your nitrous system and youll definitely feel a real great burst of energy. Oh and to you fast and the furious ppl you have to hold the buttom when spraying.

my tranny on the old one started slipping a bit (before a drunk driver decided to park his truck in my trunk), and with the nitrous the power would have destroyed it. Why would you want to ruin a motor that someone else might want?

well the motor had 312,000 miles on it and it is really easy to rebuild a motor when it is out plus i had an h22. But the tranny could have held it. I sprayed my for 4 days and the only thing that went was the motor.....hell the clutch didnt even start to slip.......thanx for atleast listening....cause i do know what im talkin about.

I had an auto in my 87 with 220,000 miles on it, that is why it was so painfully slow and weak. The new one has a standard. I am going to turbo it as soon as I am done with college and have some money. Or I might just be too tempted to get a different car with rwd.

If you beat a new Mustang GT, you should be able to beat a heavier car powered by the same engine, right? Hell, mine has 60 less HP.

I'll be up in Virginia in a month and I'll take that race in your thunderbird and will beat it.....oh yea before you talk shit about someones car atleast know what he has done to it. See accord/prelude means that it has an H22 in it and t3/t4 means it is turbocharged meaning your heavy ass car with even less power than the mustang I raced 3 months ago with my old beater accor with 140hp f22a motor in itdoesnt stand a fucking snowball chance in hell against it. But by all means if you want to back up some people that have nothing better to do than rag on others than you can race my 2 friends who are coming up their with me, one has a crx with a greddy turbo kit and zc motor, and the other has an ls/vtec with a shitload of internal work done to his motor such as new pistons, rods, complete upgraded valvetrain, and a jun stage 3 cam. But im sure they wont want to race your car after im through beating you......plus this was about a race and not some stupid ass PM i sent to another guy. Get a fucking life and a new car!
