3000 dollers!

Yeah the subject sounds cool, but I guess it might be a little cheep for some of you. Ok I have a 95 Mazda MX6 and I just gave my car to my mom, she needs it more then me. The bad thing is, I am left with 3 grand to buy a car, I was going to sale my MX6 and put the money together so I could by myself an Integra.

Thing is it don’t look so good now that I sold my car to my mom, and I have no other way to make the extra money on top of paying bills. But I have 3 Grand and what I would like to do is a get a 94 Integra, I am not asking for top of the line. I would rather it have a nice body and still run alright.

I am not asking for “Low miles” just not shit loads, maybe a little over average if anyone has any kind of deal for me or could work out something let me know. I also work for a top of the line website design company that can offer to make someone with maybe a small business idea a website. Not a cheep website I am talking like a 3000 dollar website.

But for the most part, I am working with what I got, I am sure you have all been in this slump before. But I figured it’s worth a try if anyone has one or wants to cut me a deal let me know and I will be sure and get back to you about what I can do or what not.

here in L.A. there's plenty of RS, LS, even some GS going for 3,000...some are asking 3,500 or 3,800 but if u go and take a look at the car make them the offer of 3,000 and they might just take it...but u should be able to find a 94 or 95 Teg for 3,000 just have some patience's...don't buy the first car u C unless it's too good to pass on...

also I'm pretty sure "99.99" percent sure that recycler.com (car ad's) is nation wide...cause it's powered by car's.com or some bigger company...not quite sure which one..but give it a Try also check ur local paper's, Autotrader,also on thursday lot's of mag. go on SALE (run for about 2 bucks) at ur local "7Eleven" or just ask around TOWN...when buying a used car....BE PATIENCE.......cause for 3,000 dollars I belive u should be able to find a nice looking car with avg. miles and a clean title...(don't get a Salvage)unless it's like a GSR or a VTEC SWAP for 3,000 :)

EX. 94 Teg LS 150-170 k auto or manuel clean title nothing wrong running wise or body wise clean title...etc....3,000 dollars is more then enough to get a quality Acura Integra 94 or 95...u may want to give Si's Prelude a look 2... u won't find a VTEC for 3,000 tho..but Si's Lude's r a bit faster then RS,LS, or GS Teg's...

Well see, I want a Prelude but I don't think I am going to get a 95 for 3 grand or even around that price. I have a few auto traders I have picked up the past few weeks and I am just haveing very little luck. Thanks a lot man for replying to my post because I was starting to think I had no luck lol thanks a lot and keep me up to date, I might be able to make a trip to LA for a car. I want to go down to LA anyway.

HEy Quarter, Dont get down when i wrecked my accord i didnt have the money to buy a car but i kept lookin and lookin and found a 95 tegra Ls on Ebay motors, and got it for $3,800. took me like 3 months to come across it but i did, then took a 6 hr road trip to pick it up. Good things will happen, just make with what you got for now and she'll find you.

Do you have anything against a 90-93 teg. I bet you could find one in very good condition for under 3000. Maybe even an older civic hatch with a swap! Good luck!

Well, I like the 90-93 tegs but, I am trying to get something right around the same year as my car like, 94 or 95. My mom wants me to come out with something right around the same year.

If I got anything older I kind of like the first gen preludes...

u can find lot's of Prelude's 92 and 93 for 3,000 Si's (there still 4th gen's "same model type as 94 or 95's)

yeah i think with 3k you could find a nice 93 GSR wid the b17 VTEC

I don't want a 93 though, I want like a 94, it don't have to be a GSR but you know just like that bodystyle.

You could buy another MX6! I have seen those go for well under 3000. I know your pretty set on an integra but you can buy a MX6 pretty cheap and there are really good engine mods for that car.

or y don't u bump ride's take the bus and look for 94 plus teg's or Lude's while saving money...:thumbsup:

p.s. i'm up to 1,300 with my 94 Lude VTEC for my 5thGen Lude or ITR :naughty:

also if u move to L.A. or come down for a Trip...i'm more then SURE u'll find a teg or Lude a lot cheaper then...they go anywhere in the country....I'm so lucky I live in L.A. :)
