Hatch lock jammed

First, I have a 94 CAmaro. Well, I was checking out the motor on my car with my dad today, and I was going to get a screwdriver out of the back to check the lugs on the wheels, and I stuck my key in the hole to open the hatch. (I have to use the key right now because the struts aren't strong enough to open it with the electronic open, but I'm planning on going to some junk yards in the next few days.) So I put the key in, open the hatch, and now it won't let me have my key back. The lock is stuck in a horizontal position, and I can't return the lock to the vertical position. So after about 15 minutes of me jiggling the key :banghead: it lets me have my key back, but at the horizontal position. Now it is stuck where it barely holds the hatch closed, and anybody with basically any key can open it.

So I took off the part that actually releases the hatch, and it still works correctly, so I know it is messed up with the lock itself. Then I used some spray stuff that you put in jammed locks that's supposed to fix it, but it didn't fix the lock.

Now I'm on here asking you guys if you have something that could hopefully fix it pretty quick because I have to go to a funeral tomorrow, and it's out of state, and I won't be home for a couple of days. I'm pretty weary of leaving my car alone anyways, but this makes me worry more. :uhoh:
