IMO i think the B16A is a better motor that the B18B. But anyways, what have you done mod wise? Have you done intake? If you havent start with that. if you wanted to, you could even get some camshafts and camsprockets for a little more power. :D

I suggest you get I/H/E before the cams, because you will see more gains out of the cams if the car is breathing better....either that or save for a junkyard turbo...and just buy a manifold from revhard or something, and pick the turbo/IC off a car in the junkyard:D

Are you going to go all motor or FI? Cause if you go FI you wont need a header.

Well if you read his post you would have noticed that he said that his car is bone stock. :D

well, as for what's better....depends on your wallet :) I opted for the B16A1 as it was much cheaper than the B18, and i'll take the extra cash and get the more power out of it....it was that or leave the B18 stock.

as for mods.....I suggest a SKUNK2 intake manifold! you'll get 8-14 hp out of a B series motor with it, which is ALOT for the buck! I sell these things for 245.00, so that's about 30.00 per hp on the low side, a good header is around 45.00 per hp!

then run some nice cams, SKUNK2 cams will get 17hp out of a B18! then basic bolt on's....I/H/E. Run DC 4-1 or comptech headers. or try and get a ITR header!

be sure to have the timing belt and water pump replaced!
