I was wondering some of the modifications i would have to do to put an sr20det into my 91 sentra? Do i have to get a new transmission, engine mounts, and ecu? I also would like to know how much all of it would cost. Any input would help. Thanks.

If you have the 1.6 which i bet you do your going to have to do a lot of work. I would rather buy a se-r and then just swap in a bluebird DET. Otherwise you will need to get a DET motor, se-r tranny, se-r axles, wiring harness, ECU, mounts. Its a lot of work bro but will totally be worth it in the end so with a few mods u can spank V8's. Good luck

Yes it is a lot of work. Finding the parts is even worse.

You would need, a sr20 ECU, SR20 tranny, new motor and tranny mounts, SR20 wiring harness, not to mention the parts to get the turbo running, such as front mount intercooler, piping, etc.etc.
Its always a good idea to ugrade the brakes when the HP increases. So you need a NX brake upgrade.

The DET costs around $1700 alone without shipping. Then you have to hunt the SER parts to make the swap fit.
Its hard work and expensive but man the look on Chevelle owners faces when you leave em standing still.

I do have the SE-R version. Would i still have to get all the axles, wireing harnesses, ecu's and all that other stuff?
