question about the back seat in a 97 coupe

i got a question about the back folding seat in a 97 accod lx coupe.
the carpet on the back of it seems to be connected some how. how hard is it to take that carpet off? i want to mount a piece of wood back there then mount my amps for my sytem to the wood, but it would look like it is mounted onto the carpet. does this sound doable? any suggestions where to mount the stuff would also hlep.

there should be plastic screws 2 of them i believe in the trunk where the backseat folds.
