Hey all,
I don't know how reliable the info is out there but..... are bolt on drive train parts even worth the money? I read that most of the intakes, exhaust, etc. outside of just adding forced induction don't even add any real hp gains to the Z. In fact, some of them actually sap hp. I don't know what kind of info to trust on the internet as it seems site sponsors have their hands in the cookie jar, paying for positive reviews. Let me know what you guys think and if there is any reliable info list that as well.

forums like this are going to be one of the best places to learn stuff about any and every performance part out there

Why don't you take an unfamiliar route and get the final gear ratio changed to 3.9. Grant it, your effective top speed will go down, but who in their right mind goes 140+ ? Another possible route would be to reflash the ecu (technosquare) which ensures a good 12.5 A/F ratio throughout the RPM range, bumps your redline to 7100, eliminates the top speed limiter, and reduces the correction factor that is built into our ecu (allows mods to add performance, rather than the ecu to inhibit their effects).

interesting.... but it sounds like it would void warranty.....

I mean to the point where if something goes wrong you can't fake it and change parts

Actually, do a search for "technosquare and 350z" and read up on it. They can actually make a backup ecu for you so that if you need warranty work, no problemo! Just find one at a junk yard or online. I'm sure you'll have no probs.
As for the final gear, it may take a little labor, but you could switch it out too, but to think of it, how many warranty claims deal with the final gear? None I can think of . . .
