I had a set. The wiring is set up to match your stock connectors so don't worry about that. It seperates the signal to the bulbs through the wiring in the housing. If you get halos, the wires for the halos themselves need to be spliced with a positive and ground wire (I used the turn signal wires). Have fun buying new bulbs every 6 months though...

My projectors used H3 and H4 bulbs. They blew out twice a year. Here's a pic of my angel eyes:

Dude, read the other 93740237840923 posts about projector problems. They aren't worth it. The cheapest and best-looking headlight mods are the black-painted housings imo. Or just buy real ctr lights.

No, even if you use the same wattage bulbs ike your supposed to, they just blow out quicker. However, if you use the same wattage bulb the wiring will not fry, so the new bulbs you put n will work until they bow out again. High wattage bulbs will blow out quciker, an fry the housing. Maybe the area gets too hot (since i's small) and they overheat. Bascially, however, projecoter bulbs DO and WILL go out more often than standard headlight housings. However, this can be where the little issue of PIAA having a 1 year warrenty on the bulbs comes in handy. Also, I've noticed running high beams tends to make the low beams blow out quicker.

Considering you have a 96-00, and you are already hesitent about projectors, just get some black housed CTR headlights and run PIAA Super Plasma GT-X bulbs. If you don't want to pay for real CTR headlights, you can do the "Do it yourself" CTR headlight trick Ricochet spoke of.

As for the wiring, as was said, the wiring fr all the bulbs will run into a stock looking connector socket. You'll want to use the included wiring harness that a lot of projectors come with, it has relays, fuses, etc. The "Halos" themselfs need to hook into a poistve source and a ground. As was said, they tend to be wired up by splicing into the parking light wires.

Also, lots aftermarket lighting products tend to leak and therefor fog up. Corners, tails, even some headlights. I know Ricochets projecots used to fog quiet a bit, mine also had this problem some in very rainy weather. If you get some, remember to re-seal them wlth good silicon, they are almost never sealed well from the aftermarket factory.

If you opt for projectors, just be aware of a few things.

a)they may "leak" and for up as a result. They still should produce light just as before, however, it will look annoyingly bad from the outside, however.

b)PIAA lights seemed to last longer for some reason (I've gotta over a year, twice the amount of anything else, with PIAAs), and the lights als lasted longer when you forgo the use of high beams as much as possible. Also, as Isaid above, if the PIAA's do blow out, you have tha nice little 1 yr warrenty PIAA lighting products have.

well i cant do the whole do it yourself thing sine the brackets snapped, so im gonna try and get ctr headlights atleast cleared out or with the black housing. and while i was working i was talking to this kid there and it turns out his dad owns a local stereo shop with performance parts too, so i asked him if he could try and get me the ctr ones for under 100 bucks. that store originally wanted $750 holy poop i said to them.

$750 is a raping, but good luck trying to get real CTR headlights for under 100 bucks, lol.
