I was just searching for used Mustang Convertibles... and I got a few entries which state that it is a Mustang LX. What is "LX"?

LX is an extension many car manufacturers use to indicate the car has the "luxurious" options.

LX was a term used until 93. Where the Fox Mustang came as a GT and an LX model. GT's were only V8's, and were either hatchback or convertible. LX's had either a 4 cyl or a V8, and came in either hatchback, convertible or coupe forms.
A lot of people will call a 94+ 3.8L Mustang an LX, to differentiate it as a base model compared to the GT, but the "LX" term was never used by Ford after 93.
