1.5 and 1.6 . im curious

hello i have a d15b2 in my 4dr and a 1.6 y8 block, im curious.... i know people always pull the minimeswap. could a 1.5 b2 head work on a 1.6 y8 bottom? i know the 1.6's have a longer stroke but 75mm pistons. i dont have a head for a swap and im in a rural area where getting things are difficult to acquire.

what do you think abouyt the 1.6 bottm and 1.5 head with a mpfi swap and a6 cam? would there be a performance difference?

I know the y8 block is stronger than the 1.5 and the internals of the 1.5 has around 180 mileage and the 1.6 has around 40something. I would definalety get new ring and bearings though....

I cant use the rods from the 1.6 into the 1.5 (becase of the stroke difference, and atempting 2 head gaskets prob wont work = dumber idea)
