Looks like this is all we're gonna get. Thanks CADguy and tonioseven for participating, and thanks to the rest of AF for proving my suspicion right - more poseur builders than poseur cars (just kidding!)

Please vote by posting a response to this thread with your choice. No funny stuff or we cut off your johnson! (Hey, I need that!)

Winner gets a PHAT APC decal for their 1:1!

CADguy

Heres a brief description of mods..

Rainbow tint added to rear hatch windows.
Vinyl strips added to front windshield to give that fast 'tank' look.
Hood scoop and ground effects painted to match existing car color by the owners colorblind bodywork man.
Racing stripe and sponsorship decals added.
Pegasus Daytons with whitewalls
Racing seat out of Toyota TS-020
"TUNER" license plate

Notice the Michelin, Goodyear and Nike swoosh decals. :)

DX engine conversion (valve cover, throttle body in center of plenum, timing belt cover, header shield), intake, body kit, rims, drum brakes in rear, tails, spoilers, racing seats, automatic shifter.

“Yo scope my ride. It might look like show, but it’s all go. Scope those 19”s, show and go, man, check that chrome, all bling, tellin’ ya these little cars: all class! Let’s look under the hood. Yeah, it don’t look like much but is scope that intake, getting the cold air from the left side of the engine bay, man, you can’t beat that! I know that heatsheild looks rusty but I want to hide my… turbo… hey you never know who’s gonna race you for your pink slip! I know the thing you noticed first, the body kit. Ain’t that fly? Wings West baby, hottest off the factory line. Can’t keep these in stock. I bought them off my buddy. He’s into lowriders now. HA! Got the spoiler off Ebay, intake too, one offs, RARE!! APC seats for, well duh, keepin’ my butt warm and my hottie nice and cozy. And I get a hand free with my automatic stick, yo, no fumblin’ around with a stick when I should be fumblin’ around in her shirt! Check my Carbon Fiber filler door, gotta save weight. These Hondas, all about weight and smallness. Oh, and for a little show, got the doorhandles and badges shaved. All you bitches out there can eat my dust, this car is the KING!”

 these are just hilarious. I would vote willimo's as 1st, and then comes Tonio's civic and then cadguy's daytona in a close third. I love those "turbo Z" decals :lol2:

lol, willimo's civic with the mis-matched rims, green bumpers, the shaved but not painted door handles, and upainted hood, i love it. is it bad to say that i actually like tonioseven's civic?! lol, yea i know, but that's the first 93 revell civic i've seen, and i like it. but i think CADguy's car is 1st in my opinion, the nike swoosh (that's really big with the mexicans around here) really did it for me. 2nd, willimo, 3rd tonio. props to all, hope we have this contest again!

1st to Willimo
2nd to CADguy
3rd to Tonio

Willimo that's crazy converting to dx SOHC...nice!!!! I think I've seen that car here is in San Jose somewhere....woops it's in my garage!
Tonio-dude your Civic is TOO clean to be poseur. I think that level of body kit and decals is like tasteful to most people on this forum! I know, it's sad:grinno: I'm actually into your interior..it looks good.
CADguy...I'm, still laughing! Great subject for the poseur. Man that rear window tint is classic!

CLASSIC!!!!!!! The only problem with this thread is that I only got to see 3 cars! I wish others would have joined. Super mad diggity ups and props (heheh) to you three for really letting your creativity run wild. Iiiiiiiiiiii love it!

I'd have to put CADguy on top of my list here, can barely tell what the car was originally, lol

Willimo's would be next, I don't think it was taken to the extremes as CADguy's was, but the changes he DID make are pretty funny.

Tonioseven's isn't much of a Poseur, imo, it deserves to be in a different contest :).

Willimo gets my vote, since his car reminds me of so many I've seen...
But let me tell you, it was close. So many sponsor decals, it took me a while to decide which one had the most horsepower :iceslolan ; but the engine rust and primered hood on Willimo's civic tipped the scales!

I gotta give my vote to CADguy. Man, that Daytona is the phattest, flyest thing I have seen in a longgg time. My stomach hurts from laughing so hard!

Willimo is a close second. LOVE the mismatched wheels! Dunno 'bout the green body kit, though. The primered hood an' wing is chill, yo, but for all the homies in my hood, primered body kits are BLING! :naughty:

Great build from Tonio- but I wouldn't fall over laughing if I saw smoeone driving that. (Come to think of it, i think I have seen someone driving that car....) Waaaay extra points, though, if the sponsor decals on the right door really are reversed, and not just the image.

I say tonio's ride with the backward decals classic ,and the r34 wing now that's a nice touch.
And the interior with the Giant tach, real sick tight gotta give it up for tonio :smokin:.

Sorry Willmo but I was getting the "server unavailable" everytime I tried to send you the pics. Here they are, but no voting needed. Behold the Citation Type R, a "mild" custom that took me 3 hours. Who needs an exhaust tip when you can just leave the muffler off altogether. Heck I don't even have an engine. I didn't want to waste the good model parts on this POS.

Again, I don't need to be in the voting. Just thought I'd share. Great entries, BTW, cracks me up.

I dont want this thread to go off topic but what are you trying to say about mexicans?
i'm not trying to make a stereotypical statement here, but alot of people who are of mexican dissent like to place decals/stickers/vinal all over their car. why?-idk, not shunning them, it's their car, they can do what they want. but in particular, i have seen alot of mexican flag nike signs on their cars.

They are all awful! - I mean that in a good way :)
Hard to pick between them, I'll give my vote to Tonio for the gauges up the A pillar and the 'VTEC inside" decal

Dayum!! I vote for Willimo!!:lol::lol::sunglasse Thanks all; I really had fun building this one for the contest. I tried to build something that I'd actually drive yet would be a bit overboard for everyday driving :iceslolan . The decals were actually reversed (PITA!! ) but it was still fun. Thanks for the contest and hopefully, more people will support them in the future. Have fun and to quote Zoom-Zoom, "build something; build something fun!".

Hey guys, I tried very hard to keep my threads about this from turning into any sort of arguments over stereotypes or epithets. So if you want to argue, take it to PM and get out of my thread.

I guess I oughta vote - I vote CADguy. Sorry tonio, you're car is just too nice, I'd see it on the street and say, "Not bad." Mostly.

008 - I am very sorry you weren't able to send your pics to me. I'd have loved very much for you to have been in, your model is excellent! I love your rims, where did you get them from? They, along with the random "R" are just fantastic.

The other 3 cars are great. Nice job Willimo, Tonio and 008.

The engine conversion, and hood not fitting with the body kit is great Willimo! I can just hear the turbo spooling up. :)

Tonio the backwards decals, and tach are sweet. :)

008 - Great choice for a 'tuner'. The Type R badge is sweet on that Citation.

I was really hoping for a bigger turn out for this contest. I had so much fun building this. I couldn't stop laughing while creating this hunk-o-junk. Every ugly part or decal I added cracked me up.

Kit - $10
Wheels - $7
Paint - $5
The look on peoples faces when I put that ugly thing in the tuner class at a contest - PRICELESS

Willimo - you get my vote.

:lol2: :lol2: Most of the 'tuner' cars I see all over Atlanta would definately qualify for this contest if they were built in scale. I definately did not have any trouble coming up with ideas.

Voting is closed now. Looks like I scraped past CADguy by a vote, but since I'm running the thing, I was ineligable for the, erm, prize.... Sorry, Tonio, but it seems your car was too nice for this particular run at it. 008, yours is beautiful, I truly wish you coulda been in it. It's got the look.

So, CADguy, PM me your address and claim your prize! A hot APC sticker for your ride!! Any color you want? And I better see it on your bumper when I come to the NNL South!

Great, now I have to go into Pepboys and actuall, ack! buy an APC sticker... what have I gotten myself into? [/smacks forehead]

Congratulations Willimo! :bigthumb:

This contest was all about having fun, and I sure did. Thanks for hosting it.

With all the rice, I mean Nice, critics here on AF, I thought the turnout would've been better. I would've like to of seen some additional creative builds.

I insist you claim the prize for yourself and display it proudly on your Civic. :iceslolan :cwm27: :lol2: Go ahead man, you deserve it. Job well done. :)
