'97 Crappy Acceleration

Just had a lot of work done on my car... New throttle body, fuel pump, fuel filters, exhaust, and god only knows what else... Now, I cannot get my car to accelerate properly... From 0 to 15 mph, acceleration is almost not even there, sometimes it takes up to two blocks to reach 15 mph... After i reach 15, it seems like the engine just kicks in, acceleration seems a little slower at that point, but at least I'm getting somewhere... My plug wires fell down into my fan blade, and they're a little chewed up, but most people don't seem to think that would cause me any problems... I"m out of ideas...

Um, a chewed up plug wire is definately a cause for a cylinder not to proplerly fire, this causing poor acceleration..... try changing the wire.

Replaced plug wires... No change at all... Mechanic suggested having something to do with humidity... Any thoughts???

Talking about humidity, chech your MAP sensor. Sometimes, water get inside and causes this anoying perform.

Hope this help.
