hey, I think thats what is in the vigor, not sure but I know it is a inline 5 as well, my friend has a vigor, I5/auto and it is pretty quick. runs good now but doesnt have alot of miles on it yet. anyways I have recently been looking at the late 90's 2.5TL, I like the car alot, and can find them for around 5-6k with around 90-110k miles in very good condition, but just wanted to know if that engine is any good, if I am not mistaken tat is the only I5 honda ever produced, did they do a good job with it? I know thats almost unquestionable with honda but I guess you could have bad luck every once in a while. I would have asked in the TL forum, but doesnt look like uit gets much traffic, plus I figured in the motor and parts info would be a better cjhoice anyways since Im not talking about the car at all.

thanks for any info in advance.

the only problems ive seen, although somewhat a major issue is that they spin bearings alot.

A spun bearing = shreds of metal floating throughout the engine, fucking everything else. I'd say that's somewhat of a problem.

No, but years ago I spun a bearing in my Eagle Talon and had to get the entire engine rebuilt.. and it still never ran right after that.

oh ok, well, I like the car alot, but I aitng onan buy nothing that the first thing and only thing so far I hear about it is it spins bearing comonly. Ill wait around for more responses for a while and probably even get the teg still and get the TL after more research.

a buddy of mine is building a vigor. they are pretty slick, no aftermarket, so you have to be creative, but it runs great, and it's a high miler. they have jdm blackhousing 1 piece headlights for the vigors
