The idea: want to get new leather seats, new carpet, and other various cosmetic to present a more aestheticaly pleasing inside... :grinyes:

The problem: found seat covers, carpet and other goodies EXCEPT I can not find a place that re-upholsters door panels!

I am also having a hard time finding any recycling center that has door panels. So many salvaged cars, but no door panels? :screwy:

Thanks guys

Where did you find the seat covers and what was the price?

Thanks

I've went to an upholstery place to get some vinyl (I wanted leather hide, but that was gona cost about 400-600 bucks) and he same it was basicaly impossible. BMW uses a machine to "force mold" the vinyl to the door. So DIY isn't likely... I still will try.

I've found them at www.nwautoleather.com
The price I'm not sure about, but I'm guessing close to 450-700 a seat, and 900 for the back.

www.katzkin.com also.

Does anybody know of a good salvage site??

Check out Autoleathers.com. Looks good online, never tried it. I want to replace the interior in my '95 325i. I am considering buying from that site. Has anyone ordered from there? It's very reasonable, around $700 for the whole interior. Lots and lots of choices too.
