Hey Guys just wanted to give you guys a heads up for the new grill i'm designing.
Got the wire mesh today from a local car dealer ..made by this company http://www.foliatec.com in germanyhttp://www.foliatec.com
Have already been driving for a week without my grill just to see if I liked it.
Have not decided the best way to do this ..but will sit down tonight and give it some serious design thoughts. I'll take tons of pictures to show you how its done.
I'm also thinking of meshing up the lower radiator intake section, can you guys give me some pros and cons of doing this.
Thanks in advance.
Still waiting for thos halo plugs ..watch me blow a piston

Can't really think of many cons! Only possible one might be, depending on the size of the holes in the grill, your radiator might not get any air. But like I said, may not be a con. But it would look real nice if you did that.

True about the air flow. The holes are pretty large so there should be sufficient air flow. It also afforst the radiator better protection from stones. I hope the grill will withstand the abuse.
What do you guys think of protruding the nose grill a little ..much like the Skyline GTR?

Cool . . . nice job.
You gonna leave it like that or affix a badge to the center?
I think it looks pretty good as is.

Project Chicken Wires. I've seen on many cars before. Good Job! You should put the infiniti logo emblem in the middle of the grille though, It would look better. ;)

Yeah looks pretty damn good. I thought about doing something like that but only cutting up the stock chrome grill. Cutting out the slats, painting it black, leave the infiniti symbol chrome and putting wire mesh where the slats were. But shoot, yours looks pretty damn slick....can't wait to see it for reals.
Having the same color car in the same city we have to be careful not to look the same. :sun:

Dprotech ... man ... It looks awsome.
BTW I had a crash 3 weeks ago on my P10. Some guy crashed the back of my car. So the Nissan dealer repaired the car and they put the on the car newer bumper (it's a little lower). So I bought even a new bumper for front of the car. But the bumper has holes for fog lights. Fog lights cost about 500$ so I decided to put the alusteel fence in the holes. Man the car looks 100% more evil and dangerous. It took me about 3 hours to do all the modification with painting the fence.
O, and another thing Dprotech. You said that you have an ALUSTEEL. Well the fence will shine for couple of monts then the fence will oxide. You must paint the fence or the nice silver will get shity.
Allways watch the back mirror when you are stopping the car.

Yeah ..i like it a lot. I'm waiting to get to the scrap yard to see if I can pry an infiniti emblem from a qx4 or other infiniti. Stick the big logo smack dab in the center of the grill
