interior door handle

I purchased a new interior door handle assembly from the dealer (parts dept says there must be an epidemic of broken handles-5th sold this week) I can see the clip to remove the window handle - any advice on how to get the clip off?

drive it to an autobody shop and ask them if they can pop off the clip for ya,the tool works best but it can be done with a screwdriver or 2..but you've prolly already got it off by now seeings this post is a few days old

Thanks for the reply-I did get it off. Somebody told me to slip a rag behind the handle and work the clip off. Worked like a champ.
