Hi all,
I'm in the market for a used Tahoe and have been looking at the "old" body styles, specifically pre-2000 and the 2000 Limited.
The Limited is an interesting variant, but I'm having a problem finding a list of the differences between it and other pre-2000 models, other than the cosmetics.
Any help would be appreciated.

The only real diffs are the interior is 2-tone charcoal and lt grey leather and leather steering wheel. The engine has about 10 more hp and the suspension is beefed up, other than that its just the ground effects, oh and the limited is 4x2 only, not available in 4x4. thats the only downer :( I own one if you have any questions...hope this could help

Stayned's answer is only partially right. The 2000 Limited has several differences -- not all cosmetic. The 2000 Limited is really the original Tahoe SS -- toned down slightly and without the higher insurance premiums that come with the SS moniker.
The Tahoe Limited's differences "under the hood" and chassis are: larger Bilstein shocks, Suburban brakes, a more robust transmission, a transmission cooler, an oil cooler, and at least 10 more HP (engineered to top out @ ~130mph). Oh, and the Ltd sits 2" lower than the regular Tahoes.
The more obvious differences are cosmetic -- the Denali interior (yes, it is the real Yukon Denali interior), the Escalade gauge cluster (becuz the Ltd can do ~130mph), the ground effects kit and the custom Ronal rims. BTW, the ~8900 Tahoe Limiteds were made only for the 2k model year, only in Onyx Black and only in 4 x 2.
If you're interested in the history of this truck, I have it all on my cardomain website: http://www.cardomain.com/id/tahoe_limited (Page Three).
My cddotcom pages also include some very good pics of my personal 2KLtd, the prototype Tahoe SS trucks shown as SEMA 1996 & 1997, plus the 2003 production Tahoe SS.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Enjoy!

Thanks CJ,
I've been looking for one, have found a few on ebay, and there is one nearby but has a one-piece hatch and I want "barn doors".
So, I'm still looking.
