reverse solenoid

i just replaced my tranny fluid and filter, and it drives good and shifts really clean and good now. but when you shift into reverse it clunks. if you put it in neutral on a flat surface, let off the brake, and shift to reverse, theres a loud metal clanking when it shifts. Thats the only problem though, no clanking in other gears. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
