Noise when AC is O--Compressor???

Just bought a used Odyssey. Engine is smooth except for the noise when I turn on the AC. It maybe the compressor. Any ideas?

I just bought one today. it makes the same noise mine has 85,000 miles on it and I am having the 90000 mile service done tomorrow and i am told by my honda guy that will fix the problem.

i will let you know what happens next week.

the 90000 mile service changes the water pump tensioner and all belts as well as alll fluids.

I had the 105,000 mile service done it fixed the noise.
