Power windows 2000 SLS

I recently bought a 2000 SLS. Three of the windows will not go down except from the drivers control. They will go up, but not down. The motor obviously works. Is this a switch problem? Is this unusual for a 2000 model? What kind of expense is involved?

On most vehicles with power windows all wires lead back to the drivers side controls. I would start by checking the harness/connections at the drivers window switch.

Most shops charge straight clock time for electrical problems. Usually a minimum of one labor hour.
