Is there a 1:24/1:25 kit of the new 300C available? I really want to build one, but have no luck find any. Are there rumors about a company (Revell, Amt, etc.) that might make it in the near future?

The best bet would be to keep an eye out for a possible Revell kit of either the 300C or the Magnum. If it does come, it'll be next year or the year after.
I don't know how likely it is, but Revell gets along pretty well with DaimlerChrysler so it's a chance.

I hope they won't spend time building this model because IMO the 1:1 car is so damn ugly !!! looks like a mix of 5 different brands to create the most ugly car ever made...

:iagree:
This is the one that looks like a shoebox? I hafta agree- Chrysler seems to have quite the talent lately of building unbearably ugly looking vehicles.

You might think so but I work for DC and we can't keep them on the lot they are selling so fast. I love them and with a 340 HP Hemi you just can't go wrong.

Our local Chrysler lots can't stock them fast enough, either. I actually talked with one of the service department guys (since the shop I work for gets a lot of our Pentastar parts from them) and he said "Man, I thought this place went nuts when the LH's came out, but damned if they aren't selling 3 of those 300C's for every 300M, Concorde, and LHS that were on the lot before."

Haha well you know what, i won't buy an ugly car just because it's got a 340hp HEMI engine in it. there's plenty of powerful and nice looking car i'd buy instead. i know they sell quite well, i've seen a few on the roads. but still, i think that they are a big square metal box with an enormous front grill and giant headlights.

Thanks for the replies. I hope Revell makes one ASAP!!!
As for the arguement. I really like the design of this car. To me it looks like a baby RR Phantom, so that's a plus!!! IMO...

I have to pitch in my 2 cents.
I like the new 300C
It's got a really tough chop top old-school look, and with the same transmission and suspension design of the previous generation E class mercedes and more powerful Hemi engine -only 35grand fully loaded- it's no surprise to me it's a real hit for chrysler.
ditto for their Crossfire coupe made from the old SLK parts

As mikemechanic said, kids aren't buying them. It's old people. My dad looked at them just because it has a HEMI and he doesn't even like HEMIs. Must be because they [HEMIs] were the cool thing to have back in the day and it makes the mfeel young.
Besides, who would buy something Chrysler makes?

i really like them, they have a classy look, with the modern day style. They bothe ride pretty well, the magnum is a bit of a smoother ride. I would buy the magnum for sure.

I'd expect to see a 1/24 th die-cast kit before the end of the year.
Plastic kit...don't hold your breath!
I don't expect to see much from the domestic makers besides the Stang, Vette & GTO kits.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This beholder thinks that both the Magnum and the 300 C are beauties.
However, I won't get to pick the new car, the wife already said that maybe next year we can get Hemi Magnum. I want a 300C, but I'll lose.
Maybe I can get a few more years out of the GTP.
As for a model, I think everyone would embrace a Hemi Magnum and 300 C. When has a car company created so much buzz? IT's trickled down to even us, the modeler's. Hopefully the Kit makers are watching and hearing.
