Just 2 questions....

Spawning from too much time in the mustang forum and suspicion that they are full of crap, could a 99GT really beat a 95 Pontiac TA? I don't think so, but wanted you allz opinion. Also, could a 92 5.0 beat a 92 Camaro Z28 with either a 305 or 350TPI? Honestly i don't know why i bother asking, but since i have, what say you?

from not checkign anything and going off my head... trans am would win, and 350 would win, prolyl 305... but again im not checking any facts here

The 95 T/A I think would win stock vs. stock.

The 92. 5.0 stick would beat a 305 TPI with no driver error. The 350TPI it would be a drivers race cause the 2 cars are within tenths of each other in every magazine article done back in the day.

Just FYI the 305 tpi with a 5 spd was just about as fast as the 350 tpi car. With dual cats it came with 230 hp and 300 ft lbs or torque. Add that with a 5 spd and 3.42 gears and its right on the ass of the 350 tpi with 245 hp and 345 torque.

I know 305TPI did come with a 5-speed as well as an auto. Every magazine article from the 80's pairs the 350TPI auto vs the 5.0 5-speed cause these where the 2 fastest from each brand. Also always close within a tenth or 2 of each other. The 305TPI 5-speed was not beating either with no driver error.
