97 Taurus Odometer not working

I have a 1997 Taurus. The odometer has stopped working as well as the trip meter. Any ideas what it could be??? Thanks in advance.

yes the speedometer is working as well as all the gauges

then the gauge cluster is probably broken, which sucks.
