Power locks driver side

98 Dodge caravan has power locks. Automaticlly locks when in motion 16mph or more. Recently locks at speratic times. More than once while in motion with out touching the lock. Also will not work on driverside. Only locks but doesn't unlock on its own. Passenger side works just fine. Any help?

Had the same problem a couple of times. First, if there are any "Door Open" alarms accompanying the locking, check your door sensors. I just unplugged the one that was causing trouble.
If not, you might have a problem with the switch itself. Inside the switch are two little pins, one for the lock motion (switch down) and one for the unlock motion (switch up). These pins are pressed by the switch and in turn push on an electical connection to lock or unlock the doors. If one of the pins is getting stuck, then it might cause a connection anytime you hit a bump or jostle the door. Either try to clean out the hole, or failing that, use a drill bit very slightly larger than the hole and drill it out a bit. This is also usually accompanied by the switch itself not returning to centre after being pressed.
