I liked my Eclipse 5303R deck, and I like my kenwood deck I have now, don't know the model # cause it's in my cousin's car.

A price range would help a lot.

yeah, price might be good. Cause my eclipse was almost 600 and the kenwood was almost 300.

Eww, I think nakamachi's look horendous. I love my kenwood KDC 516s. It only costs 200 though. If you can spend up to $500, then I would look at the Kenwood eXcelon Z828, or Alpine.

Horrendous!?
Try inconspicuous... or a no nonsense look. (Which is kinda good... Thiefs might think twice when they see a blah-looking deck...)

Back on topic...
It would be nice to know how price range and what kind of system you want, 94civic. I'd like to add that Pioneer's new cd/m3 decks will be coming out soon. (3 models in fact... :D)

I have an Alpine CDA-7875 and I love it.
Well it was on my old car, and I don't know if I'm putting it on my new car. I might just sell it because the stock stereo in the Prelude is pretty good, and I'm not adding subs or anything to it.
But I would highly recommend this deck. But it is $450. That's the only downfall.

Very nice head unit...

Very expensive head unit. I love the organic display. It's pretty simple to use too. But extremely expensive for a CD reciever.

i have the pioneer deh 9300, non premier version, if you have any questions. love the display, love the audio settings and adjustments, only thing im not sure about is the recorded CD s/n ratio. when i finally get all my system set up im going to swap the deck with clarion to check that (92 dB vs 108 dB, plus 4V vs 4.5V preamps).

ride:
1996 Honda Accord EX coupe, 5spd
gen 3 altezza tails, clears all around w/hyperwhites
type r grill
AEM CAI
DC Sports ceramic coated header
GReddy EVOlution full cat-back exhaust
AEM Tru-Power pulley set

system:
*lack of monster cable, 2F worth of caps, and a new alternator means all of this is stashed in a basement minus the deck. right now im running stock 6x9s and eXcelon 6.5s, which is decent as it is.

pioneer DEH 9300
Diamond Audio HEX 6.0s components

Power Acoustik Fahrenheit 6x9s

for 200-300 bucks? try pioneer. i think they have the most features for the money. you can get a head unit with 3 pairs of 4 volt pre outs with built in amp and eq and nice display for about 200.
