i'm a fucking idiot & i took a corner waaaayyyy too fast & lost it.

and since earlier this month i fell asleep & totaled my dad's truck, i am now dropped from my insurance company, and i have to go to court. being charged with like 6 things. it sucks, but everyone that was with me was alright

i know what you mean, spun out a while back... was doin about 40, ice was just starting to form, hit a patch of black ice under my right side, spun across the road and hoppedthe curb w/ the passenger side. rolled back about a houselength. was damn lucky there werent any cars or people close... was able to drive to school then home, then take it to the shop later... i got lucky tho. only damage was tires & rims. But yea the point, it happened in a split second and before the tire screech was down in my head the car was stopped. didnt quite know what happened.

i had 4 other people in the car - 1 in front, and 3 girls in back. for some reason, the 2 girls that could've had seatbelts on didn't. one of the girls was thrown out of the back window, the front passenger hit his head & scratched his eye ball, one girl was completely fine, and the other girl has cuts on her back. for me being such a fucking moron, we all got very lucky. but i don't have a license or insurance anymore, or a car, for that matter, so it doesn't really matter

i'm being charged with 4 counts of wreckless endangerment, and two other counts. court soon. worried as hell

damn, good luck with that. get yourself a good lawyer, one that's familiar with the court you'll be in.

I would suspect that you will have your license suspended, have a fine, and maybe some community service....I guess some of us just have to learn the hard way. :(

Regardless of whether or not you deserve it, you have to get a lawyer and try to drop or atleast lessen some offenses. If you do not you will be paying for it for probably the next 7 years. Thats how long they hold accidents and major tickets against you up here.

Just try affording insurance on your own with 6 tickets and one wrecked vehicle. You will be kicking yourself until you are 25 so take care of it now.

I hope this is a lesson learned. If you insist on racing on the streets and not at a racetrack then go somewhere all by yourself with no one around and drive stupid. I beg you to never speed/drive bad again. Sooner or later you will ruin your life or someone elses. I know from experience. (Hit by drunk)

I'm sorry to hear about your car, and your situation in general. And I'm glad that everyone is fine for the most part. But to be honest with you, and I don't mean to come off as a prick, but what ever they give you you deserve. I love my car, and I love to go fast, but there is a reason for driving laws. I know we all break them at some point, but when you have others in the car you need to consider them first. Your lucky noone was seriously injered or killed. Learn from your mistakes, and when you do get your license back just remember what you and them went through.

didnt see this post. while im thinking its even dumber having more ppl than seats/seatbelts in the back, im not one to talk cuz i used to do it a lot too (and i wonder why my suspensions fucked). but damn, what happened to the one that got thrown? and i know in NJ if the passengers are under 18 or 21 then the driver is responsible for their seatbelts, did the cops get you for that too?

she has a gash on her left forearm, her knee is cut open, and her head was cut. staples & stitches for her. one of the other girls has cuts on her arms, back, and thigh, and the doctors told her she had a heart murmer, which i'm hoping is not from the accident

holy crap. i got to see the car. it's really bad. the rearend is crunched in & up about 3 feet, the back window is gone, the front of the car is gone, passenger side ttop is gone, but the interior of the car is fine, minus the broken glass on the floor. i'll have pics up by monday
