I bought my 96 Kia Sephia RS 4cyl automatic in Feb. of this year it had 110,000 miles on it when i bough it..(now has closer to 118,000) so far i've had to replace the belts.... twice.. and even after repeatedly taking it to the mechanic the damn things still squeal... i've replaced the alternator, main relay, and now.. the front seal of the tranny goes.. all with in a 3 month time span and I hear a damn rattling noise like my exhaust is loose.. it gets louder when i accelerate but quiets down when i idle.. anyone have a clue what it is??.. anyways.. i was just wondering if all kia's like mine are like this or did i just by the bad apple??

go to a dealer for teh work...redneck mechanics have no business working on cars that htere is literally no info available for. at least the dealer can use the manufacturer as a reference point.
also if you had the belts replaced at the dealer they would have fallen under the 12month 12k mile parts warranty for all oe parts.
the front seal...sorry but that will happen on any car that has recieved more than 100k of drive time. ever look under the hood of a 100k buick to see how slimy it is under there?
and the rattling is a heat shield that has gotten loose. again 100k worth of corrosion on a thin piece of metal. reach under the car and just yank it off...no more rattle.
your car sounds perfectly fine to me as long as someone who actually knows the ins and outs of your vehicle is working on it.
