97 Z71 Transfer case

When i push the button to shift into 4 hi or 4 low the light on the button blinks and then goes back into 2hi...when i push the button i can here a clicking sound on the transfer case...it sounds like it wants to engage but just doesn't...does anyone have any ideas...also does anyone have the wiring diagram for the transfer case and tranny...thanks

If your really lucky..... check the oil in the transfer case

mine did the same thing but i changed out the 4x4 soleinoid and it fixed it, they said that the soleinoid went out and wouldnt engage

Yah that's what i thought it was...the cellunoid...thanks..i just ordered it and it'll be in tomorrow...so we'll see if not i may be asking for more help...thanks
