97 Z71 Transfer case

When i push the button to shift into 4 hi or 4 low the light on the button blinks and then goes back into 2hi...when i push the button i can here a clicking sound on the transfer case...it sounds like it wants to engage but just doesn't...does anyone have any ideas...also does anyone have the wiring diagram for the transfer case and tranny...thanks

hey man i have a 96' and mine did the same thing so i replaced the 4x4 soleinoid that plugs into the front diff.

Thanks..mine's not the one on the front diff...that one has been replaced already..its the one on top of the transfer....thanks for the help though
