hello everyone. ok, my timming belt broke so i ask the shop to put a new motor on my prelude and they did. they put a 96 integra vtec in my 92 prelude si. they said they order the motor from Japan. they also said it's about 40, 000 miles on the motor. what does everyone think of it? did i made the right choice? i dont know much about cars. ido know a lil but when it comes to this im clueless. thank you all for your time.

I think you should do some research cause the motor you have u have is one hell of a motor, but for prelude they should have gave you an h22a that would have been better in my eyes

I think the integra motor is good for an integra but not for a prelude. Yeah so what 170hp thats nothing compared to its torque at 126ft/lb. Im sorry but bad choice.

Sounds like the shop doesn't have a clue as to what they are doing. Not only is an h22a cheaper and more powerful, it is easier to put in.
