Radio Shack XMODS wheels measurements

The wheels are approximately 18mm across, which translates to about 17.5" in 1/25 scale. These scale out to 19.5" in 1/28, which is what the XMODS are. (As a side note, Revell's tuner wheels are 20mm or 19.5" full scale.) Accounting for the rim lip that exist in full scale rims and my less-than-scientific through-the-package measuring method, I'd say they're a good source of 17/18" wheels for our scale. At my local store three sets of rims are $10, while four sets of tires cost $9. For $20 you could have three sets of full wheel/tire sets for your late-model. The even have slicks!
The hub area will need some work as they are designed to fit onto a D shaft. I don't know how well the tire fits onto the rim, but it can't be much worse than Revell's current tuner tires that leave an ugly gap, considering the XMODS wheels are designed to be "driven".
The online catalog doesn't show all the sets, so you're best off checking your local store.
