Okay so this one exhaust shop is gonna charge me $227 for fabrication and mounting the 3" custom catback....the thing is i have to supply the muffler. Do you guys think this is a good deal? I already have a muffler (5zigen) welded on my stock pipes, should i use this one....would it be possible? Also, what muffler would you guys suggest getting? I was thinking of getting the apexi n1 muffler. thanks in advance guys!

yeah, thats cool. mandrell bent bends, or compression bends? 227 i think is fair.

I'm guessing compression bends here. Still, it is a good deal, and all you need to do is find a muffler with a 3in inlet. Those can be had for 50 bucks on Ebay.

I would drop 60 bucks on a Dynomax Ultraflow Welded 3". Its what the buschur and other kits use anyway. Straight through like any other typical muffler we use. 6" can, 12" length works. I dont think the 18 will fit.

Is that the "bullet" muffler I have been running, yet can't determine the origin of?

Dynomax does make a "race bullet", and I use one of those in 18" variety as a presilencer. Its a 4" can, 3" in/out. Does a lot less muffling than a Ultraflow (6" can) since there is less room for packing in the smaller can, but I Cant say I ever heard one used as the main muffler.
